This year the Suffield Historical Society will be co-sponsoring an Ice Harvest demonstration, by Dennis Picard & Crew. The event will be held on Saturday, Feb 6th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM, at the Noble & Cooley Museum in Granville, Mass., the Museum will be open. Show up around 12:00 am and learn how to handle an ice saw and other antique tools to cut and moving blocks of ice. Refreshments will be available.
Directions: Follow route 57 out of Feeding Hills or Southwick west to the intersection of route 189 going south in Granville. Turn left on to route 189 (right by the Granville Country Store), take a right on to Water Street about 1/5 mile south. The Noble & Cooley Museum is about ¼ mile down Water Street.
